Make a note in your diary of the opening day of City Cortex! 

Join us on the banks of the Tagus to see firsthand the City Cortex programme and experience the installations designed by the various authors. 

We’ll start in the area of Belém with a debate featuring Liz Diller, Eduardo Souto de Moura, Gabriel Calatrava, Leong Leong, Sagmeister & Walsh and Yves Béhar. They will be discussing their projects, which were created using cork, and the processes involved in working with this raw material. Between dialogues and cross-conversations, we’ll continue our walking tour of this part of the city, discovering the projects installed in surrounding spaces. 

We then cross the Tagus river by ferry and, in Trafaria, we are invited to experience the dynamism of another installation, in a celebratory atmosphere. 

And the party continues back in Belém, to end the day discovering the last projects and toasting a drink by the sunset, with music and plenty of fun.
