experimentadesign

experimentadesign is a non-profit cultural association created in 1998 in Lisbon, the result of a civil society initiative. It is, above all, a unit of knowledge production and a diffuser of content in the areas of design, architecture and project culture. Its main source material is creativity and its field of action is culture and its permanent transformation, from an integrating and multidisciplinary perspective. It strives for an incisive intervention in the way of thinking, producing and promoting culture in Portugal and abroad, having an active and positive impact on the transnational panorama. Its objectives are materialised through the conception, stimulation and promotion of projects by Portuguese creators and institutions, as well as the forging of a network of contacts and partnerships with international entities.

It seeks to contribute to redrawing the frontiers that lead to new areas of thought, new aesthetic frameworks for the world and new opportunities for individual and collective development.

Artworks

ArtWorks is an organisation that produces, develops and manufactures works of art, projects and exhibitions, creating a collaborative and experimental attitude with creatives from various artistic areas. Our various stages of production include technical and material analysis of the works, from manufacturing, packaging and transportation to the audiovisual recording of each project. Driven by an interest in new techniques, new artists and different challenges, in 2017 we created the program No Entulho Artistic Residencies, which through various formats explores a sustainable and logic way of thinking about the process of creation. Artworks allows artists, institutions or cultural events’ organizers to develop works or projects while being open to collaborations through support, partnerships or patronage.
